Craig Cottrell’s diverse experience in the world of real estate has positioned him as an ideal leader for The Real Market Experts Franchise, Inc.  As President, Craig oversees the marketing, management, and investing endeavors for the franchise.

Prior to his position as President of RME, Craig served as President of Five Star Capital Markets, LLC, a firm focused on providing financial solutions for select individuals and institutional investors, primarily through the Capital Markets. His track record of raising private money is based on offering above-average Return on Investment for his clients via real estate projects. The foundation of his investment experience and the depth of his market knowledge have allowed him to achieve this goal on multiple projects.

Craig was the driving force who created the curriculum for the first college-credited course on financial literacy in the country. He personally trained all of the instructors who are teaching the class throughout the Phoenix area, and he taught the course at multiple Phoenix-area community colleges.

Past corporate responsibilities range from Senior Technology Manager to Executive Director/VP of Business Development with Sprint. This experience has encompassed the successful management of complex technology projects, human resources and operations, as well as direct sales experience.

Craig holds a Bachelor of Business Administration with a major in Purchasing from the University of San Diego. He received his MBA with a major in Financial Management from Santa Clara University, and is currently enrolled in Concord Law School. Craig has received numerous academic and athletic honors, including Dean’s List, Scholar Athlete of the Year, Men’s Basketball Team Captain and West Coast Conference Record-Holder. Craig has served as Chairman of the Arizona-Africa Commission, and he can read and speak the French language. He has achieved Series 7, 66, Securities and Insurance licenses.

Craig resides in Chandler, AZ, where he lives with his wife, Andrea, and his two children, Davis and Madeline.
